Radium Springs, Albany, Georgia

Recently, the boys and I had an amazing day hopping between a few new-to-us South Georgia sites. Radium Springs was a last minute choice after remembering that Will (who has just finished 3rd grade) learned about Georgia's Seven Wonders this year and it wound up on the list. It didn't take long to get there and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Next time we will take a picnic and explore for longer!

You can get more information about Radium Springs HERE at the Explore Georgia website, but we were amazed at the beautiful gardens and the crystal clear waters of the springs. It would be a gorgeous location for a wedding or family pictures. My boys enjoyed walking around the springs and looking for fish and turtles in the water. (Let's be honest - they were also SUPER excited about the outdoor body weight workout area near the walking trails as well.) James was a little bummed that fishing and swimming are not allowed. To be that close to hundreds of fish that you can see and NOT catch them? This will be a place we will return!
